Bustin’ a jam with B.toys

Posted on | December 18, 2010 | 4 Comments

Y’all I’m raising a musician. Colton loves sounds. Not so much loud, out of nowhere outbursts but if the kid is making the music he is happy as ever. One day when the husband and I were at Target browsing and making a mental Christmas list, we know that Colton would go crazy for B. toys and their Parum Pum Pum drum set. Fast forward and B. toys sent him it early. So he jams out with:

  • Drum with handle & strap
  • Centipede drumsticks
  • Jingle bell ant
  • Busy bee maraca & clacker
  • Caterpillar tambourine
  • 2 shaka-shaka eggs

It’s an understatement to say that he loves it. We seriously can’t leave the house without at least one centipede drumstick and one shaka-shaka egg.(I swear I think he’s singing in his head “I don’t want to work, I just want to bang on the drum all day”)

Lucky for us (and you) B. toys has so much more to offer especially for Christmas.
Okay, it’s Colton’s second Christmas. He’s into it (the kid has loved Christmas trees since his first month)
…just not into Santa. So this year we aren’t gonna have a lot of gifts but of what we do have under the tree a majority is B. toys. Patrick and I both fell in love with drum set so went to Target to pick up a few more things. So far Colton will be unwrapping the Whacky Ball, FunKeys, and Hellophone. The Whacky Ball looks like so much fun and since Colton loves to hit things and throw stuff I figure it will be a hit. Since the first day we were introduced to B. toys (at Target) Patrick wanted to get Colton the FunKeys. I told him we’d wait and see if his obsession with our own keys wore off. It hasn’t. & last the Hellophone. Cute songs and you can record your voice! We got two so one will constantly have Daddy’s voice when Patrick leaves for Army stuff next month.
B. toys is a really caring company. Each product you buy they give 10 cents to Free The Children.

“Free The Children is the world’s largest network of children helping children through education, with more than one million young people involved in innovative programs in 45 countries. The organization was founded in 1995 by 12-year-old Craig Kielburger, who is now an international child rights activist. Free The Children believes that youth leadership is the key to achieving a generation of committed and socially active young people. In North America, Free The Children motivates and educates thousands of young people each year through its youth leadership and global education programs. Internationally, Free The Children has built more than 500 schools in Asia, Africa and Latin America, providing education (the only way out of poverty) to more than 50,000 children every day.”

The packaging is recyclable and can easily be turned into gift wrapped. Their toys are all BPA-free, lead-free, and phthalate-free. A company that truly cares about kids.
You can find B. toys at Target and specialty stores near you.

I'm so glad to find this review! I've been eying that same music set, but I'm always wary of BPA and lead-laden toys.. looks like it's good to go!

I went ahead and bought this for my little man and we all LOVE it. It's super cute without being tacky and all the instruments are so fun! :)
